Local Event “Riding for the Brand” Set to Take Place at Cross Point Cowboy Church Arena This Saturday

The highly anticipated “Riding for the Brand” event is just around the corner, taking place this Saturday at 6 PM at the Cross Point Cowboy Church Arena. KMTB and KNAS had the chance to speak with Mike Launius about the event, which has grown into a beloved tradition for locals and visitors alike.

Launius explained that the event, now in its fourth year, was created with the aim of bringing the community together to celebrate and promote the cowboy way of life.

In addition to providing insight into the event’s purpose, Launius also shared the different age groups that will be participating this weekend.

Launius also took a moment to recognize a young lady who participates in the rodeo every year, highlighting her dedication and enthusiasm. He also acknowledged Southern Arkansas University for their efforts in supporting students.

Launius also praised the venue, Cross Point Cowboy Church, and its outstanding facilities. The church, known for its welcoming atmosphere, is set to host the event, which promises to be an exciting evening for all who attend.
