Mineral Springs City Council Reviews Fire and Police Activity for June and July

The Mineral Springs City Council held its regular monthly meeting this week, where department reports for June and July were presented and reviewed.
The Mineral Springs Fire and Rescue reported a total of four training drills and 26 emergency calls over the two-month period. Of those calls, 12 were first responder medical assists, two involved brush or grass fires, and four were vehicle accidents. Additional incidents included one transformer-related electrical call and seven other alarms involving trees or smoke detections.
The Mineral Springs Police Department also provided an update, reporting a total of 39 citations and 39 offense reports for the combined months. Officers responded to four traffic accidents, made 20 misdemeanor arrests, and four felony arrests.
The council commended both departments for their continued service to the community and discussed ongoing efforts to support public safety.
