Howard County Fair Underway – Local Students Prepare to Show Their Animals

The Howard County Fair is in full swing this week, and among the many young participants preparing to show their animals are local students Josh Walker and Avery Morris.

We had a chance to catch up with both students, who shared a bit about their experiences and what the fair means to them.

Josh Walker talked about his background in showing and how long he’s been involved.

Avery Morris also shared how she got her start in the show ring.

When asked what she enjoys most about the fair, Morris said it’s not just about competition—it’s about the memories and the community.
