Immanuel Baptist Church to Celebrate 100-Year Anniversary October 5th

Coming up on October 5th, Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville will mark a major milestone — its 100-year anniversary. The centennial celebration is expected to bring together church members, former pastors, and the wider community for a day of worship, reflection, and fellowship.

KMTB and KNAS had the opportunity to speak with Pastor Paul Herndon and long-time member Holly Couch about the significance of the upcoming event.

Couch shared what this celebration means to the congregation and the importance of honoring the church’s legacy.

She also gave us a preview of what attendees can expect during the centennial service.

In the spirit of community outreach, Pastor Herndon highlighted a special event happening before the big day. On Friday, the church will host a meal for the Nashville Scrapper football team, band, and cheerleaders.

As Immanuel Baptist prepares for this historic day, it’s clear the celebration is not just about looking back — but also about moving forward in faith and community.

Stay tuned as KMTB and KNAS continue to walk down memory lane with Holly Couch and Pastor Herndon — celebrating 100 years of worship, service, and legacy.
