Magic Screams returns for fall fun and fright

Highlights include circus showcase, Coffin Clash Challenge and zombie laser tag hunt
Magic Screams is back at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, running weekends until November 2. Park guests can dive into a haunting lineup of new attractions and returning favorites every Saturday from 2-11 p.m. and Sunday from 2-9 p.m.
“This year is bigger, bolder and packed full of surprises,” said Jessyka Hanna, general manager of Magic Springs. “We’re especially excited to introduce Piccolo Zoppe’, a limited feature circus showcase created for Magic Screams. The show is whimsical, entertaining and something we think families will be talking about for a long time.”
The limited circus engagement will run for two weekends only, October 18-19 and 25-26, featuring aerial, equestrian, canine and motorcycle high wire thrill acts.
Magic Screams will also hold a 24-hour elimination Coffin Clash challenge that begins October 4 at 6 p.m. Contestants will compete via trivia, endurance, ride and attraction participation and tempting opt-out offers. Apart from the challenges, participants will be enclosed in coffins for the duration of the contest. The grand prize winner will be deemed the 2026 Supreme VIP Guest, with a $1,500 value prize pack that includes:
- Four gold season passes
- One table with up to seven guests at the concert of their choice
- A pair of meet-and-greet passes to visit with the concert artist of their choice
- One-day cabana or Ohana Oasis rental during 2026 season
- Two tickets to any adult night event, if over the age of 21
- $200 gift certificate to spend at any retail location
Other new additions include Slash Island: Zombie Takeover, an immersive laser tag experience, and Slash Island Junior, a kid-friendly inflatable zombie maze. Returning haunt zones feature Wasteland, a spine-tingling indoor and outdoor maze of horrors, while new scares include Captain’s Curse, a pirate-inspired walkthrough bridge filled with the sights and sounds of a haunted ghost ship, and Dollhead Harbor, a dock area where a village of dollars have taken up residence. Children are sure to enjoy the Trick or Treat trail and the Potions and Paint craft activities as well.
On select weekends, visitors can test their skills with scream, howl and witch cackling contests and mummy wrapping competitions. Costume contests for kids, adults, families and groups will also return this year.
Tickets for Magic Screams are $39.99 plus tax, and must be purchased for any guest over the age of four. 2026 season passes are available for as low as $54.99 or a 10-month payment plan through November 2. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets online for $32.99 or at the gate for $36.99. A 2026 season pass includes free parking and unlimited admission to both Magic Screams and all 2026 park activities.
