Nathan Volunteer Fire Department Hosts Annual Barbecue Fundraiser This Saturday

This Saturday, the Nathan Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Barbecue Fundraiser, a long-standing tradition that supports the local fire department and brings the community together.

Codie McAlister, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent with the Pike County Extension Office, shared some details about this year’s event.

McAlister also spoke about the importance of supporting the volunteer firefighters who serve the Nathan community year-round.

McAlister reminisced about the times when the Nathan Volunteer Fire Department hosted its popular haunted house.

With a strong personal connection to the fire department, McAlister encouraged everyone to attend and support the cause—especially by buying a raffle ticket.
