State Broadband Meeting Set for November 12 in Nashville

The state broadband meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, will take place at the Bobby Keaster Community Center at the Howard County Housing Authority, located at 1010 South Pope Street in Nashville.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. and is designed to provide an update on broadband expansion efforts in Howard, Little River, and Sevier counties.

Arkansas State Broadband Director Glen Howie is scheduled to attend the meeting to share information about the state’s ongoing Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program — a statewide initiative aimed at improving internet access in rural areas.

Community members, local leaders, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend. Organizers ask that attendees RSVP by calling (501) 682-7355 to help with planning.
