Scrappers Dominate Dragons in 56–0 Blowout

The Nashville Scrappers closed out their regular season with a statement win Friday night, shutting out the Genoa Dragons 56 to nothing on the Hill.

The Scrappers came out firing — Quarterback Jacoby Hopson scored the opening touchdown, with Luis Flores kicking the extra point to make it 7–0.

Bryce Perrin followed with two touchdowns of his own,

And Flores stayed perfect, pushing the lead to 21–0. DJ Jefferson added another score,

And Davonte Gilliam found the end zone before halftime.

With the extra points being good this gave Nashville a commanding 42–0 lead at the break.

In the second half, senior Tucker Dixon and Gauge Applegate each tacked on touchdowns, while kickers Jereth Perez and Flores handled the extra points to cap off the 56–0 shutout victory.

With the win, the Scrappers improve to 8–2 overall and a perfect 7–0 in conference play.
