Primary Runoff Election Results in Howard County
Tuesday, Dolly Henley was named to serve as the State Representative of District 88 in the primary runoff election.
Henley finished with 380 votes in Howard County, 906 in Hempstead County, and 42 in Miller County which gave Henley a total of 1,328 votes. Her opponent Arnetta Bradford had finished with 289 in Howard County, 726 in Hempstead County, and 13 in Miller County which gave Bradford a total of 1,028 votes.
There was also a runoff race for the Mineral Springs School Board Zone 3 between Ricky Gamble who won the election and his opponent Kay Thornton.
Gamble had 55 votes in Howard County and 7 votes in Hempstead County which gave Gamble a total of 62 votes. Kay Thornton finished with 11 votes in Howard County and 18 votes in Hempstead County which was a total of 29 votes.
For the Justice of the Peace District 9 race Stacy Turner finished with 42 votes in Howard County and Juanita G. Jackson finished with 51 votes in Howard County. Jackson will serve on the Howard County Quorum for District 9.
