Pike County Extension Launches Fundraiser to Support Local 4-H Programs

PIKE COUNTY, Ark. — The Pike County Extension Office is currently hosting a fundraiser, and KMTB/KNAS spoke with Hallie Caldwell, Administrative Specialist, and Codie McAlister, Agriculture Agent, to learn more about the effort and the local 4-H program it supports.

Caldwell began by explaining what the kids are working on — including projects like lap blankets for the nursing home — and shared additional details about the ongoing fundraiser.

McAlister then discussed the variety of activities offered through 4-H and mentioned that her main project area was photography.

She went on to highlight the many project areas available to youth, noting that these programs continue to be a major focus for 4-H members across Pike County.

To conclude, Caldwell provided information on how residents can get involved, including contact details and how to join the Pike County 4-H program.

The fundraiser is currently underway, and the Extension Office is encouraging community members to participate and help support opportunities for youth throughout Pike County.
