HMH Chief Financial Officer Bill Craig Named Arkansas Business’ 2025 Financial Executive of the Year

Howard Memorial Hospital’s Chief Financial Officer Bill Craig has been honored as the Arkansas Business Financial Executive of the Year for 2025, a recognition that highlights his leadership and contributions to the hospital since first joining through a management contract.

Craig said he learned of the nomination after a colleague submitted his name for the statewide award. He described the overall selection process, the ceremony experience, and his reaction when he heard his name announced as the winner among five finalists.

Reflecting on his career path, Craig shared that he entered the health-care field “by accident” and admitted that years ago, he never imagined himself serving in the role he holds today. He explained how the opportunity in health care came about and credited those who believed in his potential early on.

Craig also took a moment to acknowledge the colleagues, and supporters who helped guide him throughout his career, expressing gratitude for those who encouraged and supported him along the way.

Howard Memorial Hospital congratulated Craig on his statewide recognition and thanked him for his continued service to the hospital and community.
