Mineral Springs Man Killed in Early-Morning Crash Near Nashville

A 22-year-old Mineral Springs man was killed early Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Howard County, according to the Arkansas State Police.

A preliminary report states that Axel A. Marquez was driving a 2023 Dodge Challenger southbound on Buck Range Road near Nashville when the vehicle crossed the centerline, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

Trooper Micah Brown investigated the crash, which occurred at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities noted that the roadway was wet at the time of the accident.

No additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
