Former Scrapper Dontrelle Robinson Reflects on Coaching, Graduation, and Giving Back

Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with 2021 Nashville High School graduate Dontrelle Robinson about life after high school and his path as both a student and a young coach.

In this portion of our interview, Robinson discussed how the influences in his life have shaped his approach to coaching today, as well as what he hopes his players gain from him both on and off the field.

Robinson then reflected on what it means to return to Nashville—this time not as a player, but as a young coach representing the same program that helped shape him.

As he prepares to graduate from Southern Arkansas University, Robinson also shared insight into what he sees as his next step after earning his degree.

In closing, Robinson offered advice to students who are nearing their own graduation and beginning to plan for life beyond high school.
