School Board Approves 2026 Plan, Hears Updates on Turf Project

The Nashville School District held their regular monthly board meeting yesterday, with board member Nick Britt absent.

During the meeting, the board approved a motion accepting the resignation of Valerie Erby from her position as Elementary Science teacher. The board also approved the transfer of Kaylynn Sharp, who will move into Erby’s position.

Superintendent Doug Graham then addressed the board regarding the district’s Facility Master Plan.

Following discussion, the board passed a motion approving a resolution to adopt the 2026 Facility Master Plan as submitted.

Graham also provided an update on the district’s turf project.

Graham informed the board that no action is needed on the turf project at this time.
