CALL Organization Highlights Need for Foster Families in Howard County

More than 3,500 children are in foster care across Arkansas at any given time, but there are only about 1,300 open foster homes available to care for them. According to Holli Boyett with The CALL in Howard County, that gap is exactly why the organization exists.

The CALL is a faith-based nonprofit organization that works to recruit, train, and support foster families at the local level. Boyett explained that the organization has three main areas of focus.

Boyett says the greatest need — both locally and statewide — remains more foster homes.

Boyett wrapped up by noting that the work they do would not be possible without donor support.
