Nashville Scrapperettes Go 1–1 at Little Rock Christian Tournament

The Nashville Scrapperettes opened play Saturday in the Little Rock Christian Tournament with a strong win before returning to action Monday for their second game of the event.

In Saturday’s tournament opener, Nashville picked up an impressive victory over the El Dorado Lady Wildcats in Little Rock. The Scrapperettes set the tone early, dominating the first quarter and jumping out to a 25–7 lead. Nashville continued its offensive push in the second quarter, adding 20 points to take a commanding 45–17 advantage at halftime.

The Scrapperettes stayed in control throughout the second half and cruised to a 72–44 win. Angel Watson was named Player of the Game, leading all scorers with 17 points. Ava Basiliere added 13 points, while Emma Chambers and Karstyn Scrivner each finished with 10 points.

The victory improved Nashville’s record to 11–2 overall.

On Monday, the Scrapperettes faced the Bryant Lady Hornets in their second game of the tournament. Nashville trailed by three points at halftime, 24–21, and despite a determined effort in the second half, the Scrapperettes were unable to close the gap. Bryant held on for a 54–46 win.

Ava Basiliere earned Player of the Game.

Following the defeat, Nashville now stands at 11–3 overall and will close out tournament play today against the Mills University Lady Comets in their final matchup of the Little Rock Christian Academy Tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
