Elementary student hit by vehicle while crossing the street

A fifth-grade student was hit by a vehicle crossing the road in front of the Nashville Elementary School on yesterday.  As reported by the Nashville School District, the student was transported by an ambulance to Howard Memorial Hospital. The student was reportedly conscious and speaking when he left in the ambulance.  Test and further examinations were run after the incident. 

NSD provided an update about 9 pm last night and stated that the student was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. All scans and test came back good, and the doctor released the student to go home.
