Scrappers Take Lessons From Tournament, Look to Mills Tonight

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to speak with Nashville Scrappers Head Basketball Coach Aaron Worthen about the team’s overall performance in the Southwest Invitational Tournament in Mineral Springs, as well as non-conference matchups leading up to the Scrappers’ first conference game this Friday in De Queen.
Coach Worthen says the team has faced strong competition early in the season, but despite being tested, the players have continued to put in the work.

Worthen also reflected on the team’s overall performance during the Southwest Invitational Tournament held this past weekend, noting areas of growth and improvement.
Looking ahead, Worthen mentioned that Mills University is a tough opponent and will present a challenge for the Scrappers.
He added that both the Scrapperettes and the Scrappers will be facing defending state champions this week, emphasizing that preparation and matchups are key.
Worthen also discussed the importance of upcoming games leading into conference play.
In closing, Worthen touched on rankings and shared what truly matters to him when evaluating his team’s success.
The Scrapperettes and Scrappers will be back in action tonight at Scrapper Arena as they host the Mills University Lady Comets and Comets. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
