Nashville School District host signing day for 6 students
Yesterday, the Nashville School District held a signing ceremony for six students.
Three of those students signed to compete in shooting sports, Maddox Arnold who will be going to Southern Arkansas University, Rylee Jackson and Lucas Vilar who both will be going to UA Cossatot. Two band students signed to Arkansas State University to continue playing in the band Emersen Gregory and Ahmelia Williamson. And Olivia Dean who will be going to North Arkansas College to play with the Lady Pioneers basketball team.
Athletic Director James Bunch Nichols shared that these six know what it’s all about to be a Scrapper.
Today we will highlight Olivia Dean. Nashville High School Basketball Coach Paul Dean, who is also Olivia’s father, took a moment to talk about Olivia from a Coach’s standpoint and he described her as a player.
Dean stated that she will be majoring in political science, and she shared that this means a lot to her because one of her biggest dreams is to play college basketball.
