Howard Memorial Hospital Named Top-Recommended Hospital in Arkansas

Howard Memorial Hospital has been recognized as one of the top-recommended hospitals in the state, earning a spot on Becker’s Healthcare’s list of Top-Recommended Hospitals.
The recognition is based on patient feedback collected through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, also known as HCAHPS, which is administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The data measures patient satisfaction and experiences during hospital stays, including communication with staff, responsiveness, and overall quality of care.
Becker’s Healthcare compiled the list using CMS data that reflects patients’ responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?” Hospitals must have at least 100 completed surveys over a four-quarter period to qualify for a star rating.
The star ratings are based on survey data collected from patients in 2024 and were released by CMS on November 26 through the Provider Data Catalog. CMS issues ten HCAHPS star ratings, with the recommended hospital rating focusing specifically on patient willingness to recommend their hospital.
Hospital officials say the recognition reflects the dedication of the medical staff, providers, and employees who work daily to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. They also expressed appreciation to the Nashville community and surrounding areas for placing their trust in Howard Memorial Hospital.
The acknowledgment underscores Howard Memorial Hospital’s continued commitment to patient-centered care and reinforces its role as a trusted healthcare provider for the region.
