Fairgrounds and Country Sounds Event Set for January 31

Yesterday, we spoke with Fair Board members Karlie Worley and Karter Castleberry, along with 4H/FFA member Abigale Webb, about an upcoming community event set to take place later this month.

The event, called Fairgrounds and Country Sounds, will be held January 31st at 6 p.m. Worley began by sharing details about the event and announcing this year’s theme.

Worley went on to explain what attendees can expect during the evening, including entertainment and activities planned for guests.

She also discussed goals from last year’s event, highlighting a project the fair board was able to complete with funds raised, and outlined new projects they hope to work on this year.

To wrap up, Castleberry explained the overall purpose of Fairgrounds and Country Sounds and announced additional events that are planned for the spring.

Fair Board members encourage the community to attend and support local youth and fairground improvement efforts.
