Nashville School Board Extends Superintendent’s Contract, Approves New Hires

The Nashville School Board met last night for their regular monthly meeting, where members approved an extension of Superintendent Doug Graham’s contract and took action on personnel matters.
During the meeting, the board unanimously approved a motion to extend Superintendent Graham’s contract by one year. The extension will carry his contract to a total of three years, running through the 2028–2029 school year. The vote passed 5–0.
The board also unanimously approved the employment of Dontrelle Robinson as a Special Education paraprofessional, with additional duties as an afternoon coach. Superintendent Graham noted that once Robinson passes his Praxis exam, he would be employed in a licensed position with a licensed salary. Board members also approved the employment of Maddie Rogers as a Special Education paraprofessional for a half-day position. That motion also passed by a 5–0 vote.
