Southwest Arkansas Homesteading Conference Set for February 21

Recently, KMTB and KNAS had the opportunity to speak with Samantha Horn of the Howard County 4-H, Eva Langley, Pike County FCS Agent and Staff Chair, and Codie McAlister, Pike County Agriculture Agent, about the upcoming Southwest Arkansas Homesteading Conference.
The conference will be held on February 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is entering its second year. Horn said organizers are excited to bring the event back after a successful first year and shared additional details about what attendees can expect.
Langley explained that participants will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of homesteading skills, designed to benefit both beginners and those with more experience.
McAlister also discussed the variety of classes that will be offered throughout the day, covering multiple aspects of homesteading and agriculture.
Stay tuned to KMTB and KNAS as we continue our coverage and speak further with Horn, Langley, and McAlister about the kids camp that will be offered during the Southwest Arkansas Homesteading Conference.
