Howard County Officials Provide Update Following Winter Storm

Howard County Judge Brent Pinkerton provided an update Wednesday on recovery efforts following last week’s winter storm, outlining progress made by road crews and sharing important information for county residents.
Judge Pinkerton said crews from the Arkansas Department of Transportation, along with county and city road departments, have been working steadily since the storm to clear roadways and restore safe travel conditions across the county. He noted that the coordinated effort has helped speed up the recovery process as temperatures improve.
Pinkerton also addressed residents who experienced structural damage to their homes or property as a result of the storm. He shared information on how to report damage and encouraged affected residents to reach out using the appropriate contact information for assistance and documentation.
In addition, Judge Pinkerton announced updates regarding county operations. He outlined the hours of operation for the Howard County Courthouse for the remainder of the week and provided an update on rural trash route schedules, advising residents to expect adjustments due to weather-related delays.
