Howard County Farm Bureau to Celebrate Farm Bureau Week in February

February is Arkansas Farm Bureau Month, and February 2 through 6 has been designated as Farm Bureau Week. To mark the occasion, the Howard County Farm Bureau office in Nashville will host several opportunities for both members and non-members to learn more about the organization and its role in the community.
Brent Talley, president of the Howard County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, explains what Farm Bureau is and how it serves local communities.
Talley also highlighted several benefits available to Farm Bureau members. These include discounts on products and services from companies such as Sherwin-Williams, Grainger, Great Wolf Lodge, and other agriculture-related and non-ag businesses.
Farm Bureau Week is next week, and the Howard County Farm Bureau invites the public to stop by, visit with local agents, enjoy refreshments, and have a chance to win prizes.
One of the featured events will be the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Coffee, scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Howard County Farm Bureau office.
In addition to member services, Farm Bureau supports several local agriculture-related organizations, including Howard County 4-H, area FFA chapters, and the fair association. The organization also provides scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related fields of study in college.
