Nashville High School Athletes Sign to Play at the Next Level

The Nashville School District held a signing day ceremony yesterday to recognize three Nashville High School student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Karstyn Scrivner signed with Harding University to play basketball, while Jamison McIntosh signed with Texas A&M University–Texarkana and Brayden Erby signed with McPherson College, both committing to play football.
Scrapperettes Head Basketball Coach Paul Dean highlighted Scrivner’s abilities on the court, focusing on her overall skill set and the impact she has as a player for the program.

Scrivner shared that she has not yet decided on a major but is considering a future in the medical field. She also expressed gratitude for the strong support system that helped her reach this milestone.

Scrapper Head Football Coach Brad Chesshir also addressed the crowd, highlighting the skills and character of both McIntosh and Erby as they prepare to move on to the next level.

Erby said he plans to major in Business and Management and described what the signing day moment means to him personally.

McIntosh added that signing to play college football is a dream come true. He thanked his coaches, family, and supporters, while also encouraging younger students who hope to attend college in the future.
The signing day ceremony marked an exciting achievement for the athletes, their families, and the Nashville School District as the students prepare for the next chapter of their academic and athletic journeys.
