Scrapperettes Capture 4A South Regional Title, Advance to State Tournament

The Nashville Scrapperettes are riding a wave of momentum into the 4A State Tournament after capturing the 4A South Regional Championship last week at Scrapper Arena.
Nashville opened regional play with a dominant 60-32 victory over the Star City Lady Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Scrapperettes followed that performance with a 70-50 win against the Camden Fairview Lady Cardinals on Friday night to secure their spot in the championship game.
In Saturday’s final, Nashville delivered another commanding performance, defeating the Arkadelphia Lady Badgers 73-44 to claim the Class 4A South Regional title on Feb. 28.


The Scrapperettes now hold an impressive 28-3 overall record and finished a perfect 10-0 in conference play.
With the regional championship secured, Nashville turns its focus to the state tournament. The Scrapperettes will face the Mills University Lady Comets today in the first round of the 4A State Tournament in Morrilton at 7 p.m. and B99.5 will have the live coverage.
