Stewart Praises Senior Leadership, Work Ethic Ahead of Scrapper Baseball Season

The Nashville Scrapper Baseball is gearing up for the new season, and Head Coach Zach Stewart says this year’s squad is built on experience and hard work.

Tuesday, we had the opportunity to speak with Coach Stewart about the upcoming season. He began by talking about the number of seniors on this year’s roster — players he has coached since their seventh-grade year.

Stewart also reflected on last season, noting that this year’s seniors learned valuable lessons by watching and listening to the senior class before them.

Hard work, he said, continues to define the program and is something his players fully understand as part of Scrapper Baseball.

Coach Stewart also discussed the possibility of players approaching school records this season and mentioned who has been responsible for maintaining the record book and tracking those accomplishments.

To wrap up the interview, Stewart took time to recognize JT Carter for his efforts in keeping Scrapper fans informed through social media updates.
