City attorney of Dierks files Freedom of Information request with North Howard County Rural Water Association

Last week, during the Dierks City Council meeting, city attorney Dustin Bissell informed the council members that he had filed a Freedom of Information request with the North Howard County Rural Water Association. He stated the water association had three-days in which to respond or the city could file a lawsuit in the Howard County Circuit Court.

Southwest Arkansas Radio contacted Bissell and he reported a member of the North Howard County Rural Water Association board had reached out to him. Bissell said board member, Jerry Mounts had informed him that the association would be providing the Dierks City Council with the material that they requested.
