Nashville Schools Announce 2026–2027 Cheer Squads

On Friday, KMTB and KNAS had the opportunity to speak with Nashville Junior High Principal Hannah Topor and Nashville High School Principal Ashley Riggs as they officially announced the 2026–2027 cheer squads.
Topor shared her excitement about introducing this year’s Nashville Junior High School cheer team, highlighting the hard work and dedication shown by the students throughout the selection process.
Riggs also spoke about the selection process, emphasizing the qualities they looked for in candidates, including leadership, positivity, and school involvement.
Both principals agreed that cheerleaders play an important role beyond the sidelines, helping to build school spirit and strengthen connections within the community.
Topor then announced the members of the Nashville Junior High cheer squad.
Riggs followed by announcing the Nashville High School cheer squad for the upcoming school year.
School officials say they are looking forward to seeing both squads represent Nashville with pride during the 2026–2027 school year.
