Bingen Volunteer Fire Department to Host Annual Fish Fry, Auction, and Raffle

Residents in the area are invited to support local first responders at an upcoming community event in Bingen.
The Bingen Volunteer Fire Department will hold their Annual Fish Fry, Live Auction, and Raffle on Saturday, April 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
KMTB and KNAS recently spoke with Fire Chief Adam Young and Lieutenant and Training Officer Randy Thompson about the event.
Young, who has served as chief since 2021, began his time with the department in 2013.
Thompson also discussed his role within the department and the responsibilities he handles.
Young went on to explain Act 833 funding and how those funds help support fire departments and necessary equipment.
Both Thompson and Young shared additional details about what attendees can expect at this year’s fish fry.
Young concluded by highlighting some of the auction items and raffle prizes that will be available during the event.
The Bingen Volunteer Fire Department is located at 503 Hempstead County Road 27 North in Nashville. For more information, residents can follow the Bingen Volunteer Fire Department on Facebook.
