Howard County Sheriff Discusses New Dispatch Radio System with Quorum

Howard County Sheriff Bryan McJunkins recently detailed his discussions he had earlier this week with the Howard County Quorum Court about the urgent need for an updated dispatch radio system. 

In an interview with KMTB and KNAS, Sheriff McJunkins highlighted the critical importance of upgrading the current system to enhance communication and efficiency across departments. 

After McJunkins finished his presentation, justices of the peace in Howard County approved a motion to donate funds towards the upgrade of the radio system.

McJunkins further elaborated on the benefits of the new system, emphasizing how it would bolster the capabilities of law enforcement and emergency responders. 

Sheriff McJunkins also praised the Quorum’s support for the initiative not only for this occasion but on many occasions.

Looking ahead, McJunkins provided an estimated timeline for the implementation of the updated system.
