Charges Filed In Connection With Burglary

Three Nashville residents are facing felony charges related to a recent residential burglary in Pike County.  Information filed by the prosecuting attorney’s office has charged 23 year old Jake Ganous with residential burglary, theft of property and breaking or entering.  Also charged are 23 year old Daniel Nuttle and 22 year old Victoria Lansdell, who are both charged with residential burglary and theft of property.

Pike County sheriff’s deputies say the three are connected with a break in and theft that was reported November 24th at a residence on Morphew Road.

After conducting a search of the property and determining several items were missing from the residence, officers left a game camera near a driveway leading to the home and then returned the next day to review the footage.  Authorities say the camera caught a vehicle with two occupants returning to the residence.  After reviewing the picture, sheriff’s deputies recognized the vehicle belonging to Nuttle from a previous traffic stop.

Nashville police investigators learned Nuttle had pawned several guitars in Dallas which matched property taken from the Pike county home.  Around that same time, Ganous was arrested during an unrelated traffic stop in Nashville and was found to be in possession of several old coins which police said were also taken in the residential burglary.  Howard county authorities obtained a consent to search property on North Main in Nashville where they say additional stolen items from the Pike county burglary were located.
