In a recent interview, Head Baseball Coach Zach Stewart reflected on the team’s current standing in the 7-4A conference, where Nashville sits in first place with a 6-2 record.

The Scrappers’ offensive and defensive production fueled their decisive win. At the plate, Nashville showcased its depth, with multiple players contributing key hits and RBIs.

Gauge Applegate went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, Zeus Hutchinson finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Chambers helped his own cause by going 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Brett Fritts and Maddon Arnold also chipped in with three and two RBIs, respectively.

The win keeps Nashville ahead of conference contenders Camden Fairview and Magnolia, both sitting at 5-3, while De Queen follows at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Stewart discussed the upcoming matchup against the Arkadelphia Badgers, emphasizing both the challenge and familiarity that comes with facing a rival.
