Excitement Builds for Howard County Fair as Festivities Kick Off

Recently, KMTB and KNAS interviewed key figures involved in this year’s Howard County Fair event, including Fair Board Members Kaitlyn Miller and Karter Castleberry, to get the scoop on what fairgoers can expect.
Miller shared details about the live entertainment scheduled to begin tonight at 7:15 p.m., setting the stage for an exciting week of performances. 

Highlighting one of the major attractions, Castleberry discussed the Ranch Rodeo, which is set to kick off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Castleberry provided insights into the teams participating and what attendees can look forward to. 

In a new addition to this year’s lineup, Miller introduced the Cornhole Tournament, which will take place this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. She also provided additional details and what participants can expect from this event. 

The fair will also feature a Dog Show at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, open to the public with categories including Best Overall, Cutest, Best Dressed, and Best Trick. Additionally, on Saturday night, the Bull and Bronc Riding events will start at 8:00 p.m. with tickets priced at $10; children aged 5 and under can attend for free.

With a variety of activities planned, the Howard County Fair promises to be a memorable experience for all who attend.
