Umpire Volunteer Fire Department to Host Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser

The Umpire Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the community to attend their Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser this Saturday evening.

The event will take place at the fire department, located at 15790 Highway 278 in Dierks, with serving set to begin at 5 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a full meal that includes fish, chicken, hush puppies, French fries, coleslaw, beans, and a cold drink. Plates will be available by donation.

Following the meal, an auction will be held as part of the fundraiser.

Organizers say all proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the department’s needs, including vital equipment and training for firefighters and volunteers. Community members are encouraged to attend and show their support.
