Ducks Unlimited Banquet Returns to Howard/Pike County This Saturday

A local conservation tradition is back this weekend as the Arkansas Ducks Unlimited Howard/Pike County Annual Banquet prepares to welcome guests this Saturday, May 2nd, in Nashville.

KMTB and KNAS recently spoke with organizers about what attendees can expect from the event, as well as the mission behind Ducks Unlimited.

Robbie Stavely shared some background on Ducks Unlimited, explaining how the organization was founded to conserve wetlands and protect waterfowl habitats across North America. He also reflected on his own involvement, noting how he became part of the effort.

Jason Horn discussed the variety of prizes available at the banquet.

Mason Tuberville talked about how he first got involved with Ducks Unlimited, emphasizing the community aspect of the organization and the shared passion for conservation among its members.

Stavely also highlighted the group’s recent conservation efforts, noting they have banded just under 2,700 ducks over the past two years. He added that this year’s banquet will feature a variety of giveaways and activities, all aimed at supporting ongoing conservation work.
