Scrapperettes Tune Up with Non-Conference Games Before Regional Showdown

As the postseason nears, the Nashville Scrapperettes softball team is gearing up for a busy and important week on the diamond.

Head Coach Boomer Brown said the team will play two non-conference games today and Tuesday as final preparations before regional play begins later in the week. He emphasized the importance of strong defensive play heading into these contests as the competition intensifies.

Regional action is set to begin Thursday, when the Scrapperettes face the Star City Lady Bulldogs in their opening matchup. Brown discussed what the team expects from its first opponent and the approach needed to advance.

On the baseball side, Johnny Wilson, who will be calling the regional games, provided an update on the Nashville Scrappers’ schedule and outlook for the week.
