Center Point Fire Department to Host Annual BBQ and Auction Fundraiser Saturday

The Center Point Fire Department is preparing to welcome the community to their Annual Fundraising Bar-B-Q and Auction Event, set for this Saturday beginning at 5 p.m.

The event, a longtime tradition for the department, helps raise funds to support operations, equipment, and community services.

Assistant Chief Drew Moody and firefighter Michael Haney recently spoke about the event and the department’s ongoing efforts.

Haney began by describing the Center Point Fire Station facility and recognized those who played a key role in making it a reality.
