Street Closure Announced in Nashville; Glory Bee Soup Kitchen to Serve Community Meals

Residents in Nashville are being advised of an upcoming street closure beginning today, May 11th.

City officials announced that the intersection at South Jones Street and Clark Street will be closed for at least 10 days, or until construction work in the area is completed. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time while work is underway. Officials also thanked residents for their patience during the closure period.

In other community news, the Glory Bee Soup Kitchen will be serving meals to area residents this Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

This week’s menu will include baked chicken, potatoes, green beans, and dessert. Organizers say the meals are available to help support members of the community.
