Howard County Farmers’ Market Continues to Grow Ahead of New Season

The Howard County Farmers’ Market is preparing for another season, and organizers say visitors can expect continued growth along with a variety of local vendors and products.
Melanie Swortz with the Howard County Farmers’ Market spoke with KMTB and KNAS about the market’s future and what the community can look forward to this year.
Swortz shared her vision for the farmers market and the role it plays in supporting local farmers, artisans, and small businesses.
She also said the farmers market continues to grow as more vendors and community members become involved each season.
Swortz explained that vendors interested in participating can still register to be part of the market. She encouraged local growers, crafters, and producers to sign up and join the expanding event.
She also provided a short list of vendors and attractions visitors can expect to see at the market this season.
The Howard County Farmers’ Market is open every Friday from 7 a.m. until noon at 110 South Washington Street and will continue through September.
