Scrappers Prepare for State Tournament Matchup Against Robinson

The Nashville Scrappers are now turning their attention to the state tournament after a strong performance in last week’s 7-4A Regional Tournament.
On Tuesday, Nashville Scrapper Baseball Coach Zach Stuart reflected on the team’s performance during regionals.
Stuart said the Scrappers made solid contact throughout the tournament but struggled with some tough luck offensively, noting the team lined out between five and eight times during the regional games.
Looking ahead to today’s matchup, Stuart discussed the challenge of facing the Joe T. Robinson Senators and what the Scrappers will need to do in order to be successful.
Today’s Scrappers matchup will be broadcast on B99.5, and fans can also follow the team’s Facebook page, Scrapper Baseball, for score updates and game statistics throughout the contest.
Stuart also spoke about the Monticello Billies being a strong baseball program as they prepare to face Harding Academy in the state tournament at 5:30 p.m today.
Stuart was also asked about the pressure surrounding tournament baseball.
