Glory Bee Ministries to Provide Free Summer Meals for Children and Teens

Glory Bee Ministries will once again help provide meals for local youth this summer through the USDA Summer Feeding Program.

Beginning May 28 and continuing through August 16, free grab-and-go meals will be available for children and teens ages 18 and under every Monday and Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The program will be hosted at the Mineral Springs Church of Christ, located at 318 Bridgeman Drive in Mineral Springs.

Organizers say the USDA Summer Feeding Program is designed to provide free, nutritious meals to children and teens while school is out for the summer months.

Parents and guardians may pick up meals for their children without the children being present. Organizers also noted that families may pick up enough meals for three or four days during each visit.
