Members of Howard County Extension Homemakers Club speaks at Nashville Rotary meeting

Deb Kreul and Dana Newberg of the Howard County Extension Homemakers spoke this week at the Nashville Rotary Club meeting.

Newberg provided the Rotarians with a brief history of the Cooperative Extension Service in Howard County.

Kreul mentioned the Extension Homemakers members reported 5,000 volunteer hours, this year. She also mentioned several upcoming events the homemakers will be hosting over the next several months, including their Crocktober event which is Tuesday, October 15 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Extension House on Second Street in Nashville.

Kreul said the homemakers plan to replace a heating and cooling unit to the education rooms at the EH House with the proceeds.
