Juneteenth Celebration in Schaal to Focus on Empowerment, Education and Community

Community members are invited to attend a Juneteenth Celebration this Saturday, June 6, at Schaal Pavilion, located at 676 Bright Star Road in Schaal.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will center around the theme “L.O.V.E.,” which stands for Ladies of Vision and Encouragement.

The celebration will focus on education, self-care, and community support, with speakers and informational booths addressing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The event is designed to encourage individuals to support one another while promoting personal growth and awareness.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit a variety of vendors offering food, crafts, and other items. Organizers say the event will provide a chance to support local businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists from across the area.

Families are encouraged to attend, as activities for children will include crafts and games throughout the day.

The Juneteenth Celebration is free and open to the public.
