Texarkana Airshow Returning After More Than 30 Years

The Texarkana Airshow will return to the skies this Saturday, June 27, 2026, marking the event’s first appearance in more than three decades.

The airshow will take place at Texarkana Regional Airport and feature aerial acrobatics, formation flying and military flyovers, along with ground displays, food vendors and family-friendly activities.

Airport Executive Director Paul Mehrlich said the event is designed not only to entertain but also to inspire future aviators, support aviation education programs and boost the regional economy.

Gates will open at 9 a.m., with flight demonstrations scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Organizers say the event will also serve as an early celebration of America’s 250th anniversary ahead of the July 4 holiday. The airshow is a joint effort involving Texarkana Regional Airport, the Texarkana Arkansas Advertising and Promotion Commission, Texarkana College and the cities of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Texarkana, Texas.

Tickets will go on sale in 2026. Those interested in updates, sponsorship opportunities or vendor information can visit texarkanaairshow.com.
