Tomorrow, Pike County 4-H is inviting the community to enjoy a day filled with food, fun, and family activities at the Chili and Chill 4-H Fall Bash. The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Nathan Volunteer Fire Department, located at 9 CR 219 in Nashville.
In part two of our conversation with members of Pike County 4-H, we learned more about what attendees can expect from this exciting community event.
The highlight of the day is the Chili Cookoff and Codie McAlister, one of the event organizers, explained what makes the cookoff so special and shared details about the prize for the winner.
Christina Myrkle, another member of the 4-H team, discussed how the Fall Bash offers young 4-Hers a chance to gain valuable experience outside of the County Fair.
Vanessa Vaught also spoke about the importance of bringing back fun activities that will inspire local kids to remain engaged with Pike County 4-H and continue learning new skills.
As the event draws near, Myrkle emphasized the open invitation to everyone in the community to come out, enjoy the festivities, and show support for Pike County 4-H.
