Graham Youth Services, ACDC Highlight Employment and Career Opportunities for Arkansans

Representatives from Graham Youth Services and Transition Consulting, Arkansas Career Development Center (ACDC) of Hot Springs, and Arkansas Rehabilitation Services recently discussed how their organizations work together to help individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve greater independence.

On Friday, Eric Graham of Graham Youth Services and Transition Consulting, Reginald Johnson, administrator of the Arkansas Career Development Center of Hot Springs, and LaVennier Brown, Rehabilitation Area Manager for Region 8, shared information about the services their organizations provide.

Graham began the interview by explaining the mission of Graham Youth Services and Transition Consulting and how the three organizations collaborate to serve individuals seeking education, job training, and employment opportunities.

Johnson then described the Arkansas Career Development Center and the role it plays in helping individuals prepare for the workforce.

Johnson also discussed the center’s primary purpose and its commitment to equipping participants with the skills and resources needed to pursue meaningful employment.

He added that the program provides opportunities for individuals who may otherwise believe they would not have a chance to succeed in the workforce.

Johnson concluded his portion of the interview by highlighting additional services available through the Arkansas Career Development Center to support participants as they work toward their employment goals.

The interview continues with LaVennier Brown, Rehabilitation Area Manager for Region 8, who discusses the rehabilitation services available to individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to employment.
