David Williams Highlights Cornerstone Counseling Clinic’s Impact on Mental Health at Nashville Rotary Meeting
David Williams spoke to the Nashville Rotary on Wednesday about the work of the Cornerstone Counseling Clinic in Nashville.
Williams stated Judge Brian Chesshir and his wife, Kayla are the owners of Cornerstone and they opened the clinic in 2017.
Williams said Cornerstone helps treat mental to emotional disorders like anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Williams reported Cornerstone is primarily a school based clinic, however, they do offer some in-house services. He said they serve 12 districts throughout Southwest Arkansas.
Williams said Cornerstone’s mission statement is, “lift and restore the hurting.” He also provided some statistics concerning mental health.
Williams said Cornerstone accepts referrals from doctors, hospitals, therapists, nurses, schools, courts, community agencies as well as families. He also stated all major insurance and Medicaid is accepted.
