Dierks High School Set to Unveil $1 Million Field Transformation

A big celebration is coming to Dierks High School as the community prepares to see the results of a $1 million transformation to its athletic field.

The project was made possible after Dierks High School won T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights Grand Prize, beating out schools from across the country through a nationwide voting campaign.

Nearly a year after the school was announced as the grand-prize winner, the renovations are now complete — and Dierks is getting ready to celebrate.

We had the opportunity to speak with Krystal Greene, who discussed what the newly renovated field means for Dierks athletes and the community.

Greene also talked about the important role the community played throughout the project, from supporting the school during the contest to helping make the transformation a reality.

Looking back, Greene said she never imagined that simply entering a contest could lead to something this significant for Dierks.

She also expressed her gratitude to T-Mobile and everyone who helped bring the project to life.

Now, the community is preparing for the big reveal. Greene explained what people can expect when they attend the celebration.
